12/08/17 Week 13
I am nearing the end of the semester and I have learned so much! People often ask me why I'm studying business when I already have a successful business. I always tell them that I love learning. As I have gone through the past semester I have learned so much that I can use to enhance my business. I didn't really think I would learn as much as I did in a 100 level class but BYU Idaho has great learning models.
I also love how the gospel is always weaved into the study material. The talk this week by President Monson was fantastic. It really made me stop to think about what I am grateful for. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family that supports me in my business. I am also thankful for wonderful mentors that have helped me along the way. I can remember learning things I am using now all the way back in elementary school. Here is the link for the talk for future reference.

I also learned a lot from the videos this week. I was especially grateful to be reminded that I need to always be prepared for failures. Failures are basically part of being a business owner. Not even all failures but just hard times. I need to always allow for growing pains. This is not the fun part of a business but it's part of every single business.
